Entertaiment is a broad category of activities and products that entertain, amuse, or otherwise delight. This includes the more mundane items such as television shows and sports games, and the more esoteric things like wine and beer or golf and tennis.
The best way to think of entertainment is as a holistic experience that encompasses the physical, emotional and intellectual dimensions. The best way to accomplish this is to make time for family, friends and self. This is especially true in the current economic climate when most of us are trying to make ends meet while keeping a roof over our heads, and a plate full of food on our table.
Using the right brain woofers, we can turn the entertainment into something useful that demonstrates some form of success. We should start by recognizing that we are not all the same and there is no such thing as the perfect family. In addition, we have to acknowledge that the human condition is highly diverse and entails a wide variety of complexities and challenges. The good news is that we can learn to deal with these adversities and in turn live long and prosper. The key to a happy life is to make sure that each and every member of the family takes a moment from their busy schedules to engage in wholesome, albeit brief, activities that allow them to re-engage with one another.
